The Clinic remains open at this difficult time but following the Prime Ministers television announcement on 23rd March 2020 instructing people to "stay at home" we are now only undertaking face to face consultations for patients in essential need as detailed below:-
1. Patients who have had recent surgery
2. Patients who are unable to weight bear
3. Patients with severe back pain
4. Patients with severe headaches
5. Patients with an acute injury
6. Patients unable to sleep due to their condition
7. Patients who are considering contacting their G.P. or the NHS
At this time the Clinic's opening times are variable and the phone might not be answered as it normally would be. Please leave a message and a contact phone number and we will ring you back the next working day.
Patients attending for treatment should note the following:-
1.The waiting room is closed. Wait in your car to be called into the treatment room.
2.Please bring a face covering or mask to wear during treatment.
3.Please bring your own pen to complete our Covid-19 consent form.
4.Please attend on your own wherever possible.
Your Physiotherapist will be wearing full PPE when you are in the treatment room including face mask, face visor, disposable apron and gloves. Your Physiotherapist will maintain 2m social distancing when it is possible during your session and close contact will be limited to 15 minutes maximum. Appointments have been staggered to avoid contact between patients and gaps left between appointments to allow additional cleaning to take place. A screen is fitted at the reception desk to protect staff when taking payments and booking appointments.
We ask that payments are made contactless at this time either by card or mobile device (the limit has now been increased to cover our normal treatment cost of £42)
Obviously any patients due to attend the clinic who are displaying symptoms of Covonavirus should NOT attend the clinic and should cancel their appointment as detailed above and self isolate in accordance with Government guidelines
We fully understand that some patients may wish to cancel planned visits to the clinic even if they fall into the above categories and we ask that you ring 01270 763025 to confirm this as soon as you can.
We hope that we will soon be able to see patients who fall outside the above criteria. If you wish to be placed on a list to be contacted when this is possible please ring the clinic on 01270 763025 and leave your details.
We are also able to offer advice over the phone and where appropriate offer remote video conference sessions. Please ring the Clinic on 01270 763025 to discuss what is most appropriate for you.
