A.A.S. Exercise Physiology Bsc (Honors) Physiotherapy
Roberta was a paramedic for three years before deciding to peruse a license in exercise physiology in America in 2002. Prior to graduating as physiotherapist, she worked four years in orthopedic inpatient and hydrotherapy as a practicing physiotherapist assistant in England. Roberta graduated as a physiotherapist from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2012 was awarded the Best Student of the Year.
She has over 10 years experience at semi professional athlete in cycling, swimming, running and adventure racing. Roberta has also coached these sports for over 10 years focusing on providing exercise prescriptions for many different levels of fitness.
Roberta has recently specialised in hydrotherapy treating a variety of neurological condition, lower back pain, sports injuries and joint problems led by muscle imbalances.
Patient education is a core part of Roberta’s treatment, as she believes it enables her patients to take control of their condition and successfully manage it both in the short and long term. One of Roberta’s key skills is that she is a very good listener and believes this is the best approach for getting to know a patient inside out and helps her to develop a more holistic and customer focused treatment.
